About Becca

Hi, I'm Becca Lane.

Travel advisor, professional over-researcher, mom of twins, and firm believer that planning a vacation shouldn't become your second job.

I'm a travel advisor based in Seaford on Long Island, New York, specializing in family vacations, Caribbean and all-inclusive resorts, cruises and thoughtfully planned getaways. I work with families and couples across Long Island and beyond, helping them narrow down the overwhelming number of options and choose the destination, resort, cruise and room category that actually fits the way they travel.

Long before I became a travel advisor, I was the person friends and family came to with their travel questions.

Where should we stay? Is this resort actually good? Which room should we book? Is that upgrade worth it?

And because I'm incapable of giving a simple answer when I could compare 14 resorts, read 200 reviews and investigate every room category, I usually had an opinion.

Eventually, I turned all that obsessive research into Book It With Becca.

I plan trips for real life.

As a mom of twins, I know the "best" vacation looks different for everyone. A resort that's perfect for one family might be completely wrong for another — and the adults-only getaway you need after traveling with said children is an entirely different assignment.

That's why I want to know what matters to you.

Amazing food? A great kids club? Swimmable beach? Plenty of activities? Traveling with grandparents? Or do you just want a pool chair and for nobody to ask you for a snack for four days?

I can work with that.

The research is kind of my thing.

My project-management background means details are my happy place. I compare options, ask questions and dig into the things that can make a surprisingly big difference — from choosing the right destination and resort to the right cruise ship, room category and logistics.

My job isn't simply to book something you could have booked yourself.

It's to help you figure out what's actually worth booking in the first place.

My specialties include Caribbean and all-inclusive vacations, cruises, family travel, couples and adults-only escapes, multigenerational trips and upscale resorts.

Whether you know exactly where you want to go or your entire vacation brief is "We have five days, two kids and desperately need a vacation. Help." — I'm here for it.
